Coast/Beach
The nearest beach is Nachos at Torrenueva which is just a 5 minute walk away. With sunbeds and parasols available and a choice of places to eat drink and relax.
There are many other lovely beaches along the coast
including the must see Peurto Cabopino with its long stretches of white sand, beautiful harbour and good choice of restaurants.
Travel
Fly to Malaga Airport. Our apartment in Miraflores is approximately a 25 minute drive away.
We will supply you with detailed instructions on how to get to the apartment and will arrange someone to meet you with the keys.
All major budget airlines fly to Malaga eg. Monarch, Easyjet, Excel, BMI Baby and BA.
We can recommend a local hire car company that offers an efficient and reliable service.
If you are not hiring a car, taxis are readily available at the airport.
Golf
The Costa del Sol is famous for its golf courses and it's easy to see why. It is not just the courses themselves that golfers are attracted to, the area gets an average of 327 sunny days per year, so you rarely need to worry about your game being spoiled by the weather. Nestling in the foothills and valleys of the Sierra de Mijas, Miraflores is a very challenging course, suitable for all levels of golfers.Although owned by the members with members times, they still sell green fees for pay and play, and the members are always very welcoming. It is a firm favourite with many visiting golfers and a good challenge for golfers at all levels. This area boast even more golf on tap at La Cala Resort, Santana and Mijas Golf and Country Club,
Skiing
Many people only associate Spain with sand and sun and are surprised to find that Spain also offers a wide range of winter sports. Spain's number one location for winter sports, the Sierra Nevada is located just 1 and half hours away from the Costa del Sol. Located above Granada, it has the best snow and the longest season in the country. One can look forward to five months of snow. Sierra Nevada has 61km of ski slopes with 45 pistes and 6 off-piste routes. There are 2 cable cars, 12 chair lifts and 5 ski lifts. The ski resort is open from 9am to 5pm although you can ski at night at weekends and bank holidays.

Miraflores is within easy walking distance of the leisure and sports club with swimming pools, pleasant bars and restaurants. The golf course has an excellent club house, with restaurant and entertainment.
Places to visit include the typically Spanish hillside town of Mijas Village, Marbella, Puerto Banus and Benalmadena. It is also an easy drive to Gibraltar. Further afield, but well worth a visit, is the beautiful town of Granada and the exquisite Alhambra Palace.
Local activities include the Mijas Water Park, Go Karting, Quad biking, Fuengirola Zoo, tennis, horse riding, sailing and sea fishing. The Selwo Dolphinarium and Tivoli World (Fun park) are both situated in nearby Benalmadena.

The apartment is available from 3pm.
Clients must vacate by 11am on departure day.

En-suite bathroom to bedroom 1 with bath/shower over, WC and bidet.

Oven, hob, fridge/freezer, washing machine, microwave, kettle, toaster. Also crockery and cutlery set.
Living Room:
Air conditioning, TV, 1 x 2 seater sofa + 1 x 3 seater sofa, coffee table, leading onto terrace and seating area.
Table and 4 chairs to dining area.
Cleaning/towels/linen:
Clean towels and linen provided at start of stay. Apartment is service cleaned before arrival and on departure.Clients are advised to bring their own beach towels.
